Joseph Gillam
Joseph brings an extensive background in technology, media production, and engineering to the Institute. His career began in front-end web development, where he also honed his skills as a project manager — a foundation that continues to inform his structured, detail-oriented approach to complex projects.
Joseph has substantial experience in studio photography and videography, having worked with major brands such as Kenmore, Electrolux, and Honda to produce product photography and video B-roll. He also spent seven years volunteering as the audio administrator for his church, further deepening his expertise in audio engineering.
Drawing on this combined background in videography, photography, and audio engineering, Joseph transitioned into consulting, helping businesses develop online training videos. Beyond consulting, he worked both in front of and behind the camera to produce educational content on STEM topics, applying his hands-on experience with lasers, 3D printers, CNC machines, and woodworking to make technical subjects more accessible.
Joseph has also contributed to product development and engineering initiatives throughout his career. Today, he is applying this diverse, multidisciplinary experience to the development of the Institution's website, bringing together his technical, creative, and educational background to build a platform that reflects the same rigor and craftsmanship he's brought to every stage of his career.
